Mr. Samson Navin Joseph

Founding Director

Hello, I’m Navin, a proud father of three and someone who has embraced the transformative power of conscious parenting, thanks to my partner, Keerthi. Growing up in Chennai, raised by a single parent, my childhood was deeply rooted in values and resilience. However, it wasn’t until I became a parent myself that I truly understood the profound impact the early years have on shaping a child’s future. I’ve come to realize these formative years go beyond education—they’re about nurturing creativity, emotional security, and a lifelong love for learning.

With nearly two decades of global professional experience across the automotive, aviation, and travel management sectors, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This exposure has taught me the importance of adaptability, empathy, and understanding different perspectives—qualities that closely align with what children need during their early years. Balancing a demanding career with family life has been a powerful learning journey, deepening my belief in the importance of creating environments where children can thrive.

Parenting has revealed to me the beauty of intentional engagement and how small, mindful actions can drive meaningful growth in a child’s development. Inspired by this realization, I’ve developed a passion for early childhood education and its ability to lay the foundation for lifelong success. At Squad Early Years School, I’m excited to turn this vision into reality, ensuring every child has the support and opportunities they need to grow into confident, empathetic individuals. For me, this isn’t just about building a school—it’s about shaping futures, one child at a time.

Ms. Keerthi Gabriel

Founder & Head of the School

Hi, I’m Keerthi Gabriel, proudly from the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Growing up in the south, I dreamed of studying in Chennai—not for its glitz, but for the exposure and opportunities that children there seemed to have compared to my hometown. Years later, after living in the US, I made a conscious decision to move back to Chennai so my children could grow up rooted in their culture while also benefiting from the city’s diverse learning opportunities. However, as I explored early years education here, I realized how often it is underrated and overlooked.

The truth is, the foundation of a person’s character—whether it’s to be a responsible citizen, lead a happy family, succeed at work, or dream big—is built in the early years. Free play, the cornerstone of early childhood development, is often replaced by rigid coaching classes, leaving little room for creativity or imagination. Watching this unfold, I knew something had to change. That’s how Toddletown was born—a first-of-its-kind pretend play center offering children the chance to explore, imagine, and learn through experiential play in a safe and nurturing environment. Running multiple programs over the years has deepened my belief in the transformative power of meaningful opportunities during early childhood.

Now, with Squad Early Years, we’re taking this vision even further. This isn’t just another preschool; it’s a space where every child is heard, valued, and celebrated. Our curriculum, inspired by Montessori and Reggio methods, is carefully curated while staying deeply rooted in Indian culture. At Squad, we’re not just shaping learners; we’re nurturing confident, curious, and compassionate individuals ready to take on the world. We take early years seriously because we know they hold the power to shape a lifetime.
